Answer

what3words is not currently supported by PTV Route Optimiser ST and there are no plans to implement this feature. 

However, customers can work around this limitation: if their upstream systems (e.g., procurement, order management) can resolve what3words locations to standard coordinates, those coordinates can be provided and imported directly into PTV Route Optimiser ST. This approach allows addresses referenced by what3words to be optimized without requiring native what3words support in the system.

- what3words is a proprietary address system and is not part of the standard geocoding capabilities in PTV Route Optimiser ST.

- The system supports standard coordinate formats (latitude/longitude), postcodes, and street addresses depending on the regional data provider.
