Question
There are several status fields on a tour header, which can sometimes be confusing.
Answer
Export Status
The export status indicates the current state of the tour with regard to the technical export process (TPTO_EXPORT_STATE, TPTO_EXPORT_COUNT).
It is primarily triggered by updating the confirmation status.
Values
New – Tour has not yet been exported (0)
Ready – Tour is queued for export (1)
Done – Tour has been exported (2)
Error – An error occurred during export (3)
This concerns the technical export back to the source system. It means that if the transfer database is used, the data has been successfully written. [For the tour to appear in the downstream system, it must import the tour.]
Confirmation Status
The confirmation status indicates the status of the tour regarding a confirmation to an upstream system from the dispatcher’s perspective (TPTO_RETURN_STATE).
It says nothing about the more technical export process.
Values
In Planning – Tour is currently being planned (0)
Released – Tour was manually released (1)
Modified – Tour was modified after release (3)
Completed – Tour was manually completed (2)
Deleted – A released and transferred route has been deleted
Important: Once a route is “Released,” its Export Status changes from New to Ready, marking it for data export.
Data Status
In Route Optimiser, you can manually update data for your planning while red, wavy arrows indicate new schedule data. If so,and if a route was changed or deleted elsewhere, the data status field shows it as “modified” or “deleted” until you refresh. After refreshing, deleted routes disappear, and modified routes update with recalculated results or/and the new tour structures.
Execution Status
The execution status indicates the state of the route after it has been transferred to a telematics device (TPTO_EXECUTION_STATE)
Values
New – Route has not yet been transferred (0)
Released – Not in use (1)
Confirmed – Not in use (2)
Rejected – The route was rejected on the terminal (3)
Started – The route was started on the terminal (4); only from this status
onward is it calculated in PTV Smartour as a telematics route
(taking arrival and departure times into account).
Completed – the route was fully executed on the device; all orders were processed
(arrived at, departed from, canceled) (5)
Finished – the route was marked as finished by the device (6)
Aborted – the route was aborted on the device (7)
