How does PTV Route Optimiser handle deleted trips?

Answer

There are two scenarios:
 

  1. If the trip was not released or transferred, deleting it in PTV Route Optimiser is not critical for the subsequent system (typically an ERP) as it is unaware of the trip.
     
  2. If the trip was released and transferred, PTV Route Optimiser will send a cancellation to the subsequent system.
