You want to calculate routes including Dutch toll (Netherlands) in your PTV product, or you are unsure whether your current product supports Dutch toll or how to handle the upcoming toll changes in 2026.
Answer
Dutch toll is already available today in the following PTV products:
- PTV xServer 2
- PTV Developer (Routing & Optimization APIs)
- OptiFlow
- PTV Map and Guide Next Generation
Important: To calculate Dutch toll correctly, you must set the calculation date to 01 July 2026 or later. Routes calculated with an earlier date will not include Dutch toll.
For xServer 2 and PTV Developer customers: Set the tollTime parameter in your request to 2026-07-01T00:00:00Z or later to include Dutch toll in the calculation.
For OptiFlow customers: Ensure the tour date is set to 01 July 2026 or later so that Dutch toll is applied correctly.
Additional hints
Planned toll reduction (01 September – 31 December 2026): The Dutch government has announced a temporary 20% reduction of toll rates for the period 01 September to 31 December 2026. PTV will reflect this reduction in all supported products. The updated data is planned to be available by 01 August 2026. No action is required from your side — once the data is released, the reduced rates will be applied automatically when your calculation date falls within the above period.

- xServer 1 customers: Dutch toll is not available in xServer 1. To use Dutch toll, a migration to xServer 2 or PTV Developer is required. Please contact your account manager for migration support.
Map and Guide customers: Dutch toll is not available in the Map and Guide internet. To use Dutch toll, the use of Map and Guide Next Generation is required.
