Starting 6 April, we will upgrade several PTV Axylog services to improve how vehicle profile information is synchronised between PTV ROST and PTV Axylog.
Customers using PTV ROST 2024.1 with a patch level below Patch #7 may see unexpected behaviour after the upgrade.
Issue
After the update, trips that include a return to depot may appear as two separate trips in PTV Axylog.
Affected Versions
- Affected: PTV ROST 2024.1, Patch < #7
- Not affected:
- PTV ROST 2024.1 Patch #7 (released 25 February 2025)
- PTV ROST 2025.1 and later
Cause
Older ROST versions handle return‑to‑depot trips in a way that becomes incompatible with the updated Axylog services.
Resolution
Update to one of the following versions:
- PTV ROST 2024.1 Patch #7
- PTV ROST 2025.1 or later
Once updated, trips will display correctly as a single trip in Axylog.
