Since today, the services (PTV xLocate, PTV xMap Server, PTV xRoute, and PTV xTour) on our server are no longer starting.

Answer

Please check the version of JAVA you are using. It’s possible that a system update installed an unsupported version.

Each computer that has a PTV xServer installed requires a Java Runtime Environment (JRE). PTV Map & Guide intranet supports Oracle Java ™ SE Runtime Environment Version 8 or the free Amazon Corretto Java Runtime Engine Version 8. If you do not have a Java Runtime environment yet, you can download and install Amazon Cor-retto at https://corretto.aws/downloads/latest/amazon-corretto-8-x64-windows-jre.msi.
Note: Please note that PTV Map&Guide intranet only supports 64-bit Java versions.
