This article explains how you can set up a PTV Developer Free Plan and request the PTV Mira Access add-on in order to start testing PTV Mira.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A valid business email address (email verification is required)
- A PTV Developer Free Plan (no credit card required)
Overview of the Process
- Create a myPTV ID and start the PTV Developer Free Plan activation
- Confirm your email address
- Complete the Free Plan activation and accept the license terms
- Request the PTV Mira Access upgrade by email
- Start testing PTV Mira
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open the PTV Developer Website
Go to:
👉 https://developer.myptv.com/en
On the landing page, select Activate for free (top right) or Start free trial.
2. Create Your myPTV ID
A sign-up window opens. Enter the following contact details:
- First name and last name
- Company
- Country
Select Next to continue.
On the following screen(s):
- Define your email address and password
- Accept the terms for the free trial
- Submit the registration
3. Confirm Your Email Address
You will receive a confirmation email.
- Open the email
- Click the confirmation link to verify your address
Note: If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder and any corporate mail filters.
4. Activate the PTV Developer Free Plan
After email verification, return to the PTV Developer portal and complete the Free Plan activation:
- Select Activate now on the Free Plan card
- Provide contact information as requested
- Accept the product license terms
Once complete, your myPTV ID is created and your PTV Developer Free Plan is active.
5. Request the PTV Mira Access Upgrade
PTV Mira requires an additional upgrade on your PTV Developer license.
To request it, send a short email to:
Subject: PTV Mira Test
Recommended details to include:
- Your registered myPTV email address
- Company name
- A short note that you want to get the PTV Mira Access
Example email (copy and adjust):
Hello PTV Logistics team,
Please enable the PTV Mira Access for my PTV Developer Free Plan.
Registered email: 'xxxx'
Company: 'xxxx'
Thank you,
A PTV Logistics team member will enable the upgrade for your license.
6. Start Testing PTV Mira
Once the upgrade is enabled, you can start using PTV Mira.
If you have questions or run into issues, reply to the same email thread so the team can support you.
Troubleshooting
- Email verification link expired: Request a new verification email and try again
- You already have a myPTV ID: Use Sign in instead of creating a new account
- You already have a Developer Kit plan: Proceed directly with requesting the PTV Mira Access
- Cannot find Free Plan activation: Return to https://developer\.myptv\.com and select Activate for free
