In this article we would like to give you further information about Rate Limit Handling in PTV Developer once a Paid Subscription has been made.
With a Paid Subscription you receive at least one API Key, with which you can perform the calculations on the system. If the limits named under PTV Developer are not sufficient for your calculations, you can add further API keys to your subscription.

The following example is intended to illustrate the use of multiple API Keys:
You want to use the Routing API and the Matrix Routing API, one API Key may cause you to reach the defined limit with the requests sent to the system.
In this case, it may be useful to use multiple API keys for large requests.
Example: You use the API keys A, B and C for the routing API. Then these are used in sequence for each of your requests to the system. Since each calculation means a request to the system, these are thus divided and the rate limit is not reached with one large request, since this can be distributed over three API Keys as A B C A B C A B .....
